Fire Flow Test
A fire flow test provides pressure and flow data at specific fire hydrants within the distribution system for engineers, developers, and irrigation design companies. The data can be used to assess the pressure and flow available for fire protection, sprinkler system design, mainline design, and proper sizing of domestic and/or fire service lines.
For one and two-family dwellings, townhomes, and Accessory Dwelling Units, please fill out and sign Part 1 of Forms 195 and 42. For all buildings other than single-family dwellings (R-3), complete and sign Part 1 of Forms 196
Here is what is required to schedule a fire flow test within Rubio Cañon Land and Water Association distribution area.
The developer or applicant shall pay the fee of $250.00 for a fire Flow test. (if you are part of an Eaton Fire rebuild the fee will be waive) *If a physical fire flow test is required to meet specific developer requirements or statistical needs, or if the applicant is not a Rubio shareholder, the appropriate fee will apply. Payment is accepted in the form of a check or cash. Make check payable to Rubio Cañon Land and Water Association.
